As a family, we’ve always believed in the power of connection, and we wanted to create an experience that brought people together in the same way. That’s why we focused on something unique—chimney cakes, a traditional Eastern European dessert that’s both fun and flavorful.
It was important to us that we brought something new to Vancouver, something that stood out in the world of desserts. Vancouver is known for its diverse food scene, but we wanted to add our own spin—an interactive and customizable experience that people would remember long after they’ve had their first bite.

At Slavic Rolls, our family is at the heart of everything we do, and you’ve probably already met the dynamic duo—Raphael and Corinne. But they’re not alone! Joining them are their family members Mina, Burak, and Cypress.
After years of working together in a completely different industry, Mina and Burak decided it was time for a change. A change that would allow them to work closely with people, build real connections, and bring a smile to their faces with delicious food. This desire for something more meaningful led them to join Raphael and Corinne in starting Slavic Rolls 14 years ago, and they haven’t looked back since.
Together, this family works side by side, combining years of experience and a shared commitment to bringing people together through food. From day one, their mission has been simple: to build connections, share joy, and make every visit to Slavic Rolls feel special.
We wanted to make sure that, no matter how much we grew, Slavic Rolls would stay true to our roots and remain a family-run business. From the very beginning, it’s been about more than just serving delicious desserts—it’s about creating an experience that feels like a warm, welcoming extension of our own family. Every cake we make, every customer we serve, and every memory we help create is a part of our story, and we’re excited to keep sharing it with Vancouver.
